It’s that time of year! Time to go out and get the centerpiece of your family Christmas – the tree! Whether you like to cut it down yourself or purchase fresh cut, you can find both at farms in the area. Support local families by getting your tree from one of these fun farms, that often have seasonal decorations, drinks, and activities as well! Here is your 2019 Guide to Christmas Tree Farms in Clark County.

Farrell Farms

Farrell Farms is a Christmas Tree farm in Washougal that has Noble, Nordmann and Douglas trees. They offer free baling, shaking and cutting assistance. They also have wreaths, swags and tree stands for sale, along with free candy canes, cider and hot chocolate. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. You can cut yourself, or ask one of their helpers to do it for you (free of charge). Hang out by their fire and relax after picking out your tree. Cash or check only.

Fischer’s U-CUT

Fischer’s U-CUT has a limited supply of trees. Last year they were only open two weekends, so you want to get there early if you want a tree from them! They have Noble, Turkish, Grand and Douglas. You can also purchase mixed evergreen wreaths, tree stands, ornaments and firewood. To make sure they still have trees you can call them at 971-237-6317.

The Glenwood Tree Farm has been a family tradition for many in Clark County for years. This year, they do have a limited supply, so get their early if you want to buy one of their Douglas Firs. They also have wreaths, tree stands and garland. Cash or check only.

Hilltop Trees

Hilltop Trees is a Christmas tree farm in Brush Prairie that offers both u-cut and fresh cut Douglas, Grand and Noble trees. They also have wreaths and wreath hangers, tree stands, tree shaking and twining and much more! Bring the whole family to pet the animals and enjoy candy canes and hot chocolate. Klopman Farms

Klopman Farms is a u-cut Christmas tree farm with Noble, Douglas, Fraser and Grand firs. They have over 100-acres of trees for you and your family to explore while looking for that perfect tree! The farm does have helpers for those who would like assistance cutting. And they do have some pre-cut trees as well. All trees will be shaken to remove dead needles, trunks squared, feeder holes drilled and then baled for the trip to your home. Tree stands and preservatives are available as well. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome, but please pick up after your pet. Be sure to head to the barn for hot drinks, an outside fire pit and inside fireplace, gift shop with gifts and holiday decorations, and much more. Klopman Farms also has tractor-wagon rides. Hungry? The youngest of the Klopman family will have a variety of snacks and beverages for you to purchase during your visit.

La Center Farms

La Center Farms is a u-cut tree farm with Douglas, Grand and Noble firs. They will shake and bale your tree for you once you’ve made your choice. Free refreshments await you in the gift shop, so be sure to stop by there for your decorating and gift lists! Also, cartoons are playing in their theater.

Larwick Christmas Tree Farm

The Larwick Christmas Tree Farm in Brush Prairie is a u-cut or fresh cut farm with Noble, Nordmann and Fraser tree. They do have Douglas Firs as well, but they are low in quantity this year. They also have a large Christmas shop with hand-made wreaths, decorations and tree stands. Warm up with free hot chocolate and apple cider and candy canes with any purchase.

Nobles Only

Nobles Only is a Christmas tree farm in Vancouver that specializes in Noble trees. They are a u-cut Christmas tree farm with wagons to help you bring your tree in and a shaker to remove dead needles. You are sure to find the perfect Christmas tree here, with over 1,200 trees to choose from. They have free hot chocolate with marshmallows. Workers are from local high school sports teams.

The Tree Wisemans

This year, all the trees at The Tree Wisemans are tagged and priced. There are both u-cut and pre-cut trees to choose from. They have a large selection of Noble, Douglas, Grand, Fraser and Nordmann firs. Your tree will be baled and shook and they also offer flocking services and tree stands. After selecting your tree, be sure to hang around. They have free candy canes for the kids, coffee, hot chocolate, restrooms, and a gift shop: Be sure to stop by and check out their hand-made wreaths and decorations. Thortons’ Treeland

Thorntons’ Treeland is a u-cut Christmas tree farm in Vancouver that also has hay rides, a barn with a nativity scene, hot chocolate and cocoa, and a large range of gifts. Choose from Douglas, Noble, Nordmann, Fraser and Grand. They can drill your tree and attach a special tree stand so it’s ready to go when you get home. Be sure to take the kids to the animal petting area as well!

Washougal River Christmas Trees

This year, the Washougal River Christmas Tree farm is going to be mostly u-cut. They will have some pre-cut in their extra-large lot, along with hot chocolate, coffee, and animals to pet. Don’t forget your wreaths and tiny table top trees! They offer free drilling, shaking and baling. Friendly pets are welcome.

National Forest Trees

You an also head out into the woods for your tree this year.  Christmas tree permits cost $5, but if you have a fourth-grader in your family they can received on for free. New this year: Trees can be no taller than 15 feet. For more information visit the National Forest website.
