The popular Camas Girl’s Night Out event is totally online this year, featuring a week of virtual fun with your friends, sisters, moms, and daughters. This year’s event is called “Camas Girls’ Night Out:A Virtual Remix” and is slated to start daily activities on Monday, September 21 with evening virtual “features” on Thursday, September 24 through Saturday, September 26. The new format offers a meaningful way to share a memorable and fun time and to support worthy women’s causes.

This virtual event also brings women together to support Downtown Camas merchants, and will see online shenanigans and activities, all in the name of charity, as it’s a fundraiser for breast and ovarian cancer support and awareness. The theme for this year’s virtual Girls’ Night Out is “Protect. Prevent. Prevail.” Survivor stories are being collected to be shared as part of the event.

Covid-19 has changed the way Downtown Camas does events and while the Camas Girls’ Night Out will look a lot different this year, it’s still an important way to raise awareness and funds for the Pink LemonadeProject and the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregonand SW Washington.

The event organizer Downtown Camas Association will offer a cherry on top with a “50/50 raffle” with a winner (up to $500). The main goal for this event is to raise funds for these two important cancer fighting organizations. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. Donations are greatly appreciated too. You can buy raffle tickets or donate here.

Here’s what you can expect from the virtual Girls’ Night Out:
