It’s time for pumpkins, apple cider, witches and black cats! The cool weather brings with it bright leaves and lots of fun activities to usher in the new season. From apple pressing and horror movies to hot rods and quilts, there is something fun for everyone in the family. Here’s the 2022 fall activities in Vancouver, Washington and throughout Clark County.

Camas Girls’ Night Out

September 22: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Downtown Camas

Need a night out with the besties as the weather turns cooler? Head to the Camas Girls’ Night Out to celebrate with shopping, cocktails, activities, entertainment and more! There will be a fashion show, prize drawings and a photo booth. Proceeds benefit local health charities. It’s a wonderful fall activity in Camas that will make you proud to be a woman. Harvest Festival

September 28: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Camas Farmer’s Market
4th Ave, between Everett and Franklin

Harvest Festival is the final Camas Farmer’s Market of 2022 and a joyful celebration of the bounty of the season. Join them for a day of family fun including live music, food vendors, cookbook and garden book exchange and more! Old Apple Tree Festival

October 1: 11 a.m. – 3p.m.
11 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver

It’s not fall without the traditional Old Apple Tree Festival in Vancouver! This year it’s happening on October 1 with food, music, activities and more. Learn about fruit tree pruning, bring your apples for pressing, and let the kids join in the fun activities. Apple cuttings from the Old Apple Tree itself will be handed out on a limited, first come, first serve basis until gone. For more information, visit the City of Vancouver website.

Cinema of Horrors Drive-In Movies

Crave scary movies during October? Get your fill at the Cinema of Horrors Drive-In Movies at the Clark County Event Center. They are planning to feature the scariest of scary movies select nights in October. Not scared yet? Keep an eye out for the monster lurking by your car! This unique experience is unlike any you’ve done yet and including Hollywood quality makeup and terrifying twists. Haunted Walking Tours

Clark County Historical Museum

On select Fridays and every Saturday in October head to the Clark County Historical Museum for Haunted Walking Tours. Learn the ghoulish tales from our city and the area’s past. Clark County Roadster Show

If you like big engines, the Clark County Roadster Show is a fall activity in Clark County you won’t want to miss! Held at the Clark County Event center, the weekend includes hot rods and motorcycles that are truly drool-worthy, just don’t get any on the chrome! There will also be music, food and beverages. Fall Leaves Train Ride

There is nothing like looking at the fall leaves in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest forests while riding on a train! This fall activity in Clark County is perfect for the whole family. Quiltfest Northwest

Here’s a fall activity near Vancouver that will warm you up instead of chill you! Quiltfest Northwest is a weekend full of sewing fun, from quilts to fiber art and more! There will be a vendor hall, exhibits and door prizes. See incredible Fort Vancouver tapestry, the Felida Friends exhibit and the Quilts of Valor exhibit. Apple Pressing

October 29
Cedar Creek Grist Mill

It’s not fall without apple cider, and there is nothing better than fresh apple cider from an original press! Once a year, people line up for the famous apple cider being pressed at the Cedar Creek Grist Mill. This year, on October 29, they will begin distributing cider at 9 a.m. and will go until it’s gone. Children are invited inside the Mill to help the volunteers press the cider. More information can be found on the Cedar Creek Grist Mill website.
