This year, the Fourth of July is special. Celebrating America 250, Clark County has several July 4th events and fireworks displays. Don your red, white and blue, pick an event or two and get ready for some good, old-fashioned family fun!

Battle Ground 3rd of July Celebration

Celebrate America 250 in Battle Ground with a huge family-friendly event! Enjoy the Little Patriots Zone for children under 5, featuring bounce houses, crafts and activities. Get your photo taken with the Founding Fathers! Play carnival games, meet first responders and explore emergency vehicles. Join the kids’ parade for those under 10 and then enjoy face painting, balloon art and more! Free hot dogs, water, soda and cotton candy. Other food vendors available as well. And of course, the Battle Ground 3rd of July Celebration will have fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

While the Fort Vancouver fireworks are not happening in 2026, they are having a special America 250 Celebration that is free to attend! There will be a patriotic pet costume contest, ceremonial trumpets, drumline and a live performance by Exit 52. There will be food and drink vendors and more.
Ridgefield July 4th Parade & Festival

The Ridgefield 4th of July Parade and Festival kicks off with a pet and kid pre-parade (10:15 a.m.) and then the grand 4th of July Parade (11 a.m.) with 100 entries! Parade applications due June 26.
The July 4th festival starts at 10 a.m. in downtown Ridgefield. There are food and craft vendors, children’s activities – for just a $5 wristband, they can play all day – live entertainment at Overlook Park, a pie-eating contest, fun run and more!

The American Legion Post 44 invites you to help them place 200 American flags for the Fourth of July! Meet at the old fire station at 7 a.m. to put them up and again at 6 p.m. to put them down.
America 250 Fireworks Show

You can see the Portland Fireworks on our side of the river, or head over to the Waterfront Blues Festival for the day and then watch the fireworks there. This year’s show will be special to mark America 250 and will be broadcast live on KUNP as well.

The 2026 4th of July Cruise on Portland Spirit to see the America 250 Fireworks Show will be a fun night of incredible food and an amazing fireworks show! Vegan and gluten-free options are available by request. This always sells out, so get your tickets as soon as possible for the two-hour cruise.
