Fourth of July in Ridgefield is not to be missed. A non-profit organization puts on an entire day of fun, starting with the Firefighters Association pancake breakfast at 7:00 a.m. There are fun runs to help you burn off those ‘cakes and then a pet and kid pre-parade. At 10:15 a.m. it’s time to gather for the main parade.  Gather at the corner of Pioneer Street & Main Avenue to participate, no cost or pre-registration required.  The theme of this year’s parade is “Land of the Free, Home of the Suppers.”
Kids will love all there is to do at Ridgefield Refuge Overlook Park after the parade, including face painting, magicians, children’s inflatables and more. Tony Starlight will provide live entertainment from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the pie eating contest (free to those under 18-years-old) will follow. But you aren’t done yet! From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. High Fidelity will be doing dance participation in the plaza and of course, there will be tons of food, drink and craft vendors for all ages to enjoy.

IMPORTANT NOTE: they will not be doing their fireworks show, in support of the new show being held at the Clark County Event Center. For more information visit the Ridgefield 4th of July Celebration website.
