It’s time to put on your red, white and blue, grab some sparklers and celebrate our nation’s birth! Fourth of July is the pinnacle of our summer around here, and it’s the perfect time to get out and celebrate with a night or even day of fun at any of these local events. Here are the 2022 July 4th Firework Displays in Clark County, along with some other fun July Fourth events.

Vancouver Summer Fest

Sunday, July 3
Fort Vancouver

On July 3, have some pre-July Fourth fun with Summer Fest, also happening at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. There will be a full day of fun including live music, food, games on the lawn and more. Sample cider and beer behind the Grant house. Bring a picnic or buy delicious treats from the food vendors. Lawn games will include a cornhole tournament. Then, settle down with a blanket for a movie in the park at dusk. Summer Fest starts at 11 a.m. The annual Vancouver Firework Spectacular is once again cancelled for 2022. For more information, visit The Historic Trust website.

4th of July Rendezvous Days and Parade

Yacolt’s 4th of July Rendezvous Days and Parade are back and full of fun all weekend long! Kick off your weekend with their kickball tournament from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Little League Fields on July 1.

Saturday is jam-packed with activities including a Bigfoot Fun Run (9 a.m.), Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest (11 a.m.), Opening Ceremonies (12 p.m.), Kickball Tournament (1 p.m.), Office Chair Races (6 p.m.), Watermelon Eating Contest (7 p.m.), Sack Races, Tug-o-war, and Hula Hooping contests (8 p.m.) and a dance at Town Square starting at 8:30 p.m.

Sunday join in the Hellz Bellz Ultra Marathon at Hantwick Trailhard starting at 6 a.m. And of course, Monday July 4th, come out in all your red, white and blue splendor for the Independence Day Parade at 10 a.m.

Ridgefield Fourth of July Parade & Festival

The Fourth of July in Ridgefield is always a day of fun! Start off with a fun run and then a pet and kid pre-parade before the main 4th of July Parade happens. Viewing takes place on 4th Avenue and Division to North Main, Pioneer and 8th Avenue.

After the parades, stick around to enjoy food trucks, craft vendors, children’s activities and more throughout downtown. Head to Overlook Park for street dancing! Don’t miss the pie eating contest at 2 p.m. for ages 6-15 also in Overlook Park.

In the evening, get ready for the pre-laser light show at 4 p.m. in Abrams Park. And then the main event, the laser light show will start seating at 8:30 p.m. also in Abrams Park. For more information, visit the Ridgefield 4th of July Celebration website.

Ridgefield Craft Brewing Fourth of July Celebration

If you’re looking for some fun that doesn’t end with a bang, check out the Ridgefield Craft Brewing 4th of July Celebration. They are going to have live music by Rekless Kompany and Fortunate Son. Get your fill of July Fourth picnic fare with Smokin Frank’s BBQ and The Doghouse. And of course, plenty of ice-cold drinks courtesy of Ridgefield Craft Brewing! 4th of July at the Fairgrounds

The Clark County Fairgrounds will not be holding 4th of July at the Fairgrounds in 2022.
