The Battle Ground Senior Citizens organization is proud to announce it has been selected to receive a $2000 Walmart Spark Good Grant, a generous initiative by Walmart to support local nonprofits making a positive difference in their communities.
This grant will help fund essential programs and activities that serve the growing senior population in Battle Ground and the surrounding areas. From providing nutritious meals and social events to supporting wellness and educational initiatives, this funding will enhance the quality of life for hundreds of local seniors.
“We are incredibly grateful to Walmart and their Spark Good program for recognizing the importance of supporting seniors in our community,” said Sharon Wodtke, President of Battle Ground Senior Citizens. “This grant will allow us to continue fostering a vibrant, connected environment for our local senior citizens.”
The Spark Good Grant is part of Walmart’s larger commitment to strengthening communities through local giving and corporate responsibility. Battle Ground Senior Citizens was selected based on its ongoing dedication to senior health, wellness, and social connection.
