If you are looking for a July 4th firework show near Vancouver, your best bet is going to be the Portland Waterfront Fireworks this year. For 2025, Fort Vancouver’s Fourth of July Fireworks, Summer Fest: Picnic in the Park, and the 4th of July rodeo are not happening. There are still plenty of fun July 4th events in Clark County and beyond, though, so be sure to check out these events.

July 4th in Ridgefield is a full day of family fun. The Ridgefield 4th of July Parade and Festival kicks off with a pet and kid pre-parade (10:15 a.m.) and then the grand 4th of July Parade (11 a.m.) with 100 entries!
The July 4th festival starts at 10 a.m. in downtown Ridgefield. There are food and craft vendors, children’s activities – for just a $5 wristband, they can play all day – live entertainment at Overlook Park, a pie-eating contest (2:30 p.m.) and more!

This July 4th event is happening at the beachfront before Frenchman Bar Park. Pets and family welcome! Paddleboarding, volleyball, jet skiing, and boating are just some of the fun activities. And of course, barbecue and bonfires! Message them through their Facebook event for more information.

The American Legion Post 44 invites everyone to come out and help them place 200 American flags for the Fourth of July! Meet at the old fire station at 7 a.m. to put them up and again at 6 p.m. to put them down.
Portland Waterfront Fireworks Show

The July 4th Fireworks show in Portland is your best bet to see fireworks on the Fourth of July near Vancouver. The show is free, and is visible from both sides of the Willamette River as the fireworks are set off from a barge. Head to the Waterfront Blues Festival for the day and then stay for a great viewing point.

Harvest Days Parade & Festival

While it’s a bit after July 4th, the Harvest Days Parade & Festival in Battle Ground will have a fireworks show! Enjoy a parade (July 19), vintage/classic car cruise (July 18, cars older than 1990), pancake breakfast (July 19), carnival, market, live entertainment and more. The fireworks will happen Saturday evening.
