Camas-Washougal Historical Society (CWHS)
The community is invited to attend a presentation on the significant local history of the Chinook Nation at the Camas-Washougal Historical Society (CWHS) Annual Meeting. Eric Bernando, a Native American with family ties to the Camas-Washougal area, will share interesting stories of the Chinook Nation’s rich history here. Bernando is an employee at the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde and teaches Chinook language. “We are pleased to host Eric and hope the community will enjoy learning about the deep history and important contributions of native people here,” said Jim Cobb, CWHS President.
