The Event
Second Chance Companions is hosting its 16th annual fundraising event which will include a live and silent auction to be held May 12, 2018, at Royal Oaks Country Club, Vancouver. The success of this dinner auction event is to help ensure our continued care of unwanted and abandoned animals, pet adoptions, spay, and neuter program and the distribution of pet food to low-income seniors through our AniMeals program. All proceeds from the event go to support the animals.
About Second Chance Companions
Second Chance Companions (SCC) is a non-profit animal adoption organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and Portland metro area. We are staffed and run entirely by volunteers and operate solely with public donations. SCC has been in the community since 1993. We are a 501(c) (3) organization. In 2017, we found homes for 129 dogs and 352 cats and we provided 742 feline/canine spays/neuters (400 cats and 242 dogs)were completed. Through our AniMeals program, we distributed 64,000 pounds of pet food to low-income seniors in the Clark County community.
