Woof, Meow, Party Safely! Join the fun during the Walk/Run for the Animals’ 30th anniversary and safely help homeless dogs and cats in our community! The Humane Society for Southwest Washington organized a socially distanced circular route through downtown Vancouver for this year’s celebration. Event partners will have stops with available food, beverages, great giveaways and entertainment on the dog- and kid-friendly route. Registered walkers can begin at 9 am or start later in the day…the event ends at 3 p.m. Masks are required for all participants.
Or register to run a 5K wherever you choose the week leading up to May 1 and submit your time online. Registered walkers and runners will receive an event bag as well as a custom 30-year anniversary commemorative medal! You can also fundraise from home or donate to the event.
