VANCOUVER, WA – Sept. 13, 2018 – Revel in a spookily elegant setting with staged performances of rousing musical theater numbers and live music from members of the Peter QB Quintet at the Dark Times Masquerade Gala on October 27 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 808 Main Street.

Presented by the newly resurrected Pacific Stageworks theater company, patrons, producers and performers are invited to gather for a festive evening in celebration of local theater.

“Locals may remember the mid-1990’s in Vancouver where a cluster of local theater companies produced dozens of live performances every year in spaces ranging from the Columbia Arts Center to the Slocum House and various makeshift spots in between,” said Pacific Stageworks president Heather Blackthorn. “Dark Times is a celebration of what has been, and what will be again.”

The event will feature a silent auction, wine pull and more in support of the Pacific Stageworks mission. Tickets are available online and sponsorship opportunities are available. Current local business partners include Campbell Pet Company, and Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie.

“There are a handful of organizations here in town doing impressive live performance work, but there’s an appetite for more,” Blackthorn said. “We’ve got a group of energized local theater folks of all ages ready to bring it. From screwball comedies to fresh musicals, we’re ready to kick it up a notch and the Dark Times Masquerade Gala is just the start.”
