On Saturday, March 24, devotees of wine and animals alike will gather at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club for the second annual fundraising event, Cheers! At this palate-pleasing event, guests can select from 200 local, regional and international wines accompanied by delectable appetizers. Once they’ve found their favorites, participants can order bottles at incredible prices to savor on their own. Proceeds from the entry fee and a portion of every purchased bottle benefit dogs and cats at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington (HSSW).
“This is the great event to attend with a group of friends as you sample an array of wines and tempting bites,” says Denise Barr, VP of Marketing at HSSW. “Every bottle available at Cheers! will have an almost-impossible-to-beat price. Whether you’re a wine aficionado or novice, this is the perfect time to buy a few bottles or stock the entire cellar – all while helping to care for shelter animals.”
Tickets are on sale now through March 19 at hssw.ejoinme.org/cheers. Guests must be 21 years of age. Minors are not allowed. Everyone passionate about wine and animals is sure to have a wonderful time and make a difference in the lives of dogs and cats waiting for their forever homes.
