Every second Thursday of the month, the historic Kiggins Theatre hosts local and regional stand-up comics for a night of laughs. Local breweries sponsor some of the events, offering up their brews and providing discounts.

The Fort Vancouver National Trust helps to host this free educational experience, with the Flight Simulator lab, vertical wind tunnel, a glider-building station, historic airplanes on-site for viewing, collections on display, and educational programs to propel students of all ages into the wonderful world of flight. Experience the “Golden Age of Aviation” at the Northwest’s first airport, and one of the oldest continuously operating airfields in the country
Second Saturdays at the Water Resources Education Center are not only fun, they’re free! kids and their families are invited to explore a different topic through hands-on activities, games and stories. Create bird feeders and other crafts to welcome wildlife to your backyard! Learn about the amazing world of bubbles! Make a piece of art from reused materials! There’s always something new. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The popular Annual Plant Fair hosted by the Camas-Washougal Historical Society will be held Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Two Rivers Heritage Museum, 1 Durgan Street in Washougal.
Each spring healthy plants from local gardens and yards are collected to hold this popular event. Plants for sale at this year will include creeping bell flowers, Solomon’s seal, forsythia, red hellebores, violets, Hosta lilies, pink and white peonies, wildflowers, and other native plants. “We also have a limited supply of Camas Lilies available, and they go quickly.
